| The Political Lynching of King Lum On June 15, 2006 members of the Kauai County Council abused their power by calling for a politically motivated investigation of what they claimed was the intentional alteration of a government document for the purposes of conspiring to make the Kauai County Council "look bad". The target of the conspiracy was King (KC) Lum Kauai’s former Police Chief and a candidate for Kauai County Council.
