SOLIDARITY ACTION PROTECT THE "CEDED" (stolen) LANDS
FRIDAY DECEMBER 26, 2008 3-5 PM
A rally was held at the intersection of Kuhio Hwy and Hardy St., Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii in a solidarity demonstration with a rally being held at the same day in Honolulu.
Hawaii Governor Lingle is pressing the US Supreme Court to overturn the moratorium on the sale of "ceded" lands. She hopes the US Supreme Court will clear the way for the State to start selling off the "ceded" lands to big business and development interests. Twenty five to thirty activists participated. The two activist shown were across the street from the main group of activists.
